Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ½ tablespoons (30 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons (10 g) cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup (30 g) all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • teaspoon (.75 g) baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
  • Add egg yolk and mix until combined.
  • Mix in cocoa powder and stir until combined.
  • Add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Roll dough into a large ball.
  • Place dough on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375° F (190° C).
  • Allow cookie to cool on pan for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
