INGREDIENTS NEEDED
- Butter
- Granulated sugar
- Egg yolk
- Cocoa powder
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Chocolate chips
HOW TO MAKE DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE FOR ONE
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar. This can be mixed in a small bowl with a spatula. Add an egg yolk and mix until well combined into dough.
- Slowly mix in cocoa powder and stir until well combined.
- Add the remaining dry ingredients, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed into dough.
- Roll dough into a large ball and place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

- Small bowl
- Silicone spatula
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Baking sheet
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 ½ tablespoons (30 g) granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons (10 g) cocoa powder
- ¼ cup (30 g) all-purpose flour
- A pinch of salt
- ⅛ teaspoon (.75 g) baking powder
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
- Add egg yolk and mix until combined.
- Mix in cocoa powder and stir until combined.
- Add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips. Roll dough into a large ball.
- Place dough on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375° F (190° C).
- Allow cookie to cool on pan for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
