INGREDIENTS NEEDED 

  • Butter
  • Granulated sugar
  • Egg yolk
  • Cocoa powder
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Chocolate chips

HOW TO MAKE DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE FOR ONE

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar. This can be mixed in a small bowl with a spatula. Add an egg yolk and mix until well combined into dough. 
  2. Slowly mix in cocoa powder and stir until well combined. 
  3. Add the remaining dry ingredients, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until combined. 
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed into dough. 
  5. Roll dough into a large ball and place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ½ tablespoons (30 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons (10 g) cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup (30 g) all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • teaspoon (.75 g) baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
  • Add egg yolk and mix until combined.
  • Mix in cocoa powder and stir until combined.
  • Add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Roll dough into a large ball.
  • Place dough on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375° F (190° C).
  • Allow cookie to cool on pan for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
