Rich, thick, and chocolatey hot fudge is the best topping for ice cream. There are only FOUR ingredients in this easy hot fudge recipe and it takes about five minutes to make.

  • 1 cup (227 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup (112 g) margarine
  • 1 (12 oz) can (240 g) evaporated milk
  • 2 cups (240 g) powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips and margarine over medium heat.
  • Stir in evaporated milk and sifted powdered sugar.
  • Bring to a boil. Cook for two minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for about five to ten minutes to thicken and cool down slightly. Enjoy!
